Roulette at Vulkan Vegas

Roulette is simple to learn and comes in more versions at Vulkan Vegas than you might expect. The version you choose matters more than any betting system – one wheel costs you twice as much as another for exactly the same bets.

Roulette versions compared

Version Zeros House edge Notes
European roulette 0 2.70% The standard choice
French roulette 0 1.35% on even-money bets La Partage returns half of an even-money bet when zero lands
American roulette 0 and 00 5.26% The extra double zero almost doubles the cost
Multi-wheel and mini roulette Varies Varies Read the rules – some have a higher edge

The conclusion is straightforward: play French roulette for even-money bets, European roulette for everything else, and skip American roulette altogether unless you enjoy paying more for the same game.

The main bets

Inside bets are placed on numbers:

  • Straight – one number, pays 35 to 1.
  • Split – two neighbouring numbers, pays 17 to 1.
  • Street – a row of three numbers, pays 11 to 1.
  • Corner – four numbers, pays 8 to 1.
  • Six line – two rows, pays 5 to 1.

Outside bets cover larger groups:

  • Red or black, odd or even, 1–18 or 19–36 – pay 1 to 1.
  • Dozens and columns – twelve numbers each, pay 2 to 1.

On a single-zero wheel every bet has the same 2.70% house edge. A straight-up bet is not "worse" than red or black – it is simply more volatile.

Live roulette

The live casino has a long row of real roulette wheels: standard European tables, faster "speed" versions, immersive tables with slow-motion replays and Lightning Roulette, where random numbers get multipliers of up to 500x. The multipliers are paid for by a lower payout on regular straight-up wins (29 to 1 instead of 35 to 1), so the overall return is similar to European roulette.

Do roulette systems work?

No. Martingale, D'Alembert, Fibonacci and every other progression change how your wins and losses are distributed, but none of them changes the house edge. Martingale in particular can turn a run of small wins into one very large loss when a losing streak meets the table limit. If a system seems to work, it is because you have not played long enough to see the bad run.

Play responsibly: Decide in advance how much you will play with and how long. Roulette rounds are quick, especially on speed tables.

Roulette and bonuses

Table games count for only a fraction of their stakes towards wagering, and roulette is often excluded altogether. Covering most of the table with small bets to "safely" clear a bonus is explicitly forbidden in the bonus terms. If you mainly play roulette, a welcome bonus is often more trouble than it is worth – weekly cashback suits table players better.

Frequently asked questions

Which roulette has the best odds at Vulkan Vegas?

French roulette with La Partage, when you bet on even-money outcomes. For other bets, European and French roulette are equal at 2.70%.

Can I play roulette for free?

The digital versions usually have a demo mode. Live roulette is only available for real money.

What is the minimum bet?

It depends on the table. Digital roulette often starts at €0.10, live tables usually at €0.20–€1.

Does roulette count towards the welcome bonus wagering?

Only partly, if at all. The contribution percentages are in the bonus terms.

Is online roulette rigged?

Digital roulette uses certified random number generators, and live roulette is a real wheel filmed in a studio. Neither changes the house edge, which is built into the payouts.
