With €15 in bonus money you can play for a while – but it helps to understand what that money actually is. Bonus money sits in a separate balance with its own rules, and mixing it up with your real balance is behind many of the "where did my winnings go?" questions support receives.

Two balances in one account

Your Vulkan Vegas account has two balances:

• Real balance – money you deposited and winnings you are free to withdraw.
• Bonus balance – money from offers such as the €15 no deposit bonus. It can be played but not withdrawn until the wagering requirement is met.

Both are shown in the account menu. While a bonus is active, winnings from bonus bets are added to the bonus balance, not the real one.

What happens when you play with the €15

1. You activate the offer and the €15 appears as bonus balance.
2. Each eligible bet counts towards the wagering requirement. Your progress is shown in the bonus section.
3. Wins and losses change the bonus balance.
4. When wagering is complete, the remaining bonus balance – up to the maximum cashout – moves to your real balance.
5. If the balance reaches zero or the time limit runs out first, the bonus ends.

Depositing while the bonus is active

This is where it gets confusing. If you deposit while the €15 is still being wagered:

• your deposit goes into the real balance,
• the real balance is normally used first for your bets,
• the welcome bonus cannot be activated until the no deposit bonus is finished or cancelled.

If you want the welcome package on your first deposit, either finish the no deposit bonus first or cancel it. Cancelling removes the remaining bonus money but keeps any real money.

Withdrawing during wagering

Requesting a withdrawal while a bonus is active usually cancels the bonus. Your real balance is paid out; the bonus balance and its winnings are removed. If you are close to finishing the wagering requirement, it is usually worth completing it first.

Tip: Take a screenshot of the bonus section when you activate the offer. It records the terms that applied on that day, which helps if there is ever a disagreement.
